New Ad: Private Equity Invests in States and Districts of All New Members of Congress
New print ad in POLITICO highlights how private equity supports small businesses and directly employs workers in new members’ local communities
Washington, D.C. – Today, the American Investment Council (AIC) released a half page print ad in POLITICO highlighting how the private equity industry supports jobs and invests billions of dollars in the communities of all new members of Congress.

The POLITICO ad provides business and investment data in the states and districts of 10 new members of Congress:
- Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO): Nearly 600 private-equity backed businesses and $26 billion in private equity investment.
- Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK): Nearly 300 private-equity backed businesses and $10 billion in private equity investment.
- Rep. Jeff Jackson (D-NC-14): 250 private-equity backed businesses and $17 billion in private equity investment.
- Rep. Becca Balint (D-VT-AL): Over 50 private-equity backed businesses and $410 million in private equity investment.
- Rep. Max Miller (R-OH-07): Over 120 private-equity backed businesses and $6 billion in private equity investment.
- Rep. Morgan McGarvey (D-KY-03): Nearly 115 private-equity backed businesses and $11 billion in private equity investment.
- Rep. Keith Self (R-TX-03): Over 210 private-equity backed businesses and $8 billion in private equity investment.
- Rep. Kevin Mullin (D-CA-15): 135 private-equity backed businesses and $9 billion in private equity investment.
- Rep. Rudy Yakym (R-IN-02): Nearly 100 private-equity backed businesses and $4 billion in private equity investment.
- Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL-23): 210 private-equity backed businesses and $9 billion in private equity investment.
