PEGCC Holds First Chief Financial Officers’ Day
The Council held its first Chief Financial Officers’ Day on September 10th at Associate Member Deloitte’s office in New York. The Council continues to expand its member services offerings to create new forums for senior executives to discuss emerging issues, review developments, network, and hear from leading practitioners in their respective fields. The Chief Financial Officers’ Day provided a forum for the Council’s members to attend a substantive, educational meeting on the challenges and opportunities for private equity firm CFOs in today’s workplace.
Mary E. Galligan, a Director in Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Services Practice and previously with the FBI, kicked off the event with an engaging session on cyber security risks. The opening session was then followed by three panel discussions focused on the evolving role of the CFO, technology and cyber security practices, and tax and regulatory changes. Expert panelists were selected from a number of the Council’s Associate Member firms, including Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, Debevoise & Plimpton, Deloitte, EY, and KPMG.
The Council would like to thank our panelists, as well as Deloitte for hosting the incredibly successful event.
The Council’s next event will be our Chief Compliance Officers’ Working Group meeting on September 30th, followed by our 2nd Annual General Counsels’ Day on October 15th. If you have questions about these or other PEGCC member events, please contact the Council’s membership team at 202-465-7700.
