The Hour: Himes visits offices of laundry products company in Wilton

WILTON – Congressman Jim Himes visited Sun Products’ corporate offices in Wilton, a provider of household care items, on Monday to meet with company executives and address legislative challenges faced by Congress.
In front of a packed room of Sun Products employees, Himes answered questions about a wide range of topics including health care, immigration and chemical safety. According to Himes, it’s important that he connect with businesses in the communities he represents.
“I think this is great,” said Himes about the Wilton facility.
Joined by members of the Washington, D.C.-based Private Equity Growth Capital Council, Himes was given a rundown of Sun Products’ long list of merchandise and brands.
Among the company’s dish care and fabric products are Wisk, Snuggle, Surf, all and Sunlight.
