Video: Private Equity Investment Helps the Delaware City Refinery
In a new video released today, Blackstone (BX) catalogues the positive impact of its portfolio company, PBF Energy Company LLC (“PBF”) investment in the, and approximately 2,000 indirect jobs at local suppliers and service provides. The improvements are estimated to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by as much as 35%.
“And it wouldn’t have happened, certainly, without the investment capital from Blackstone and from First Reserve and without all these unbelievably talented workers that are here,” said Gov. Jack Markell, Governor of Delaware.
